Bruce’s Testimony
I was born deaf. At age 13, another deaf man witnessed to me concerning salvation and I accepted Jesus Christ. At age 14, while attending the Bill Rich Ranch, I sat under the teaching of several Leaders. Although I was still young, I felt God calling me to preach. I attended Trinity Baptist College and graduated in 1990. God led me to pastor the deaf at Greater Portland Baptist Church from 1993 to 1997. However, in 1997, God began to deaf with my heart about missions with BIMI. God led me to Planter Church in Atlanta, GA since 2001. We thank God for these wonderful opportunities to serve Him and ask that you pray for us to be effective in what He has called us to do.
Vicki’s Testimony
Like my husband, I too was born deaf. I was saved at age 18. Upon graduation from High School I attended the National Technical Institute for the Deaf in Rochester, NY where I met Bruce. We were married in 1986 and now have three precious boys, Paul, Timothy and John. As a Pastor’s wife, I was involved with many ministries in the church such as Sunday School teaching and women’s ministries, etc. I am excited about the opportunity that God has given us to serve Him here at BIMI. It is my prayer that I will strive to be exactly what God wants me to be for Him.
